[My Ranting] Do Your Email Open Rates Suck?

If you’ve been struggling trying to figure out why your email open rates have plummeted, don’t feel bad. It’s not your fault, and you are not alone.

In the last year the industry has changed a great deal. And these changes are affecting a lot of marketers. You and me included. In fact, many marketers have completely given up
and thrown in the towel.

And it’s no wonder. With all the scammers and unethical marketers out there something had to give. And give it did.

Suddenly people STOPPED opening their emails and marketers stopped making money. And who could blame them? I don’t know about you but if I read one more offer promising me that at the click of a button some magical software was going to throw money at me I’d be sick! I mean GET REAL!!

Listen, I’m on your side. I hate all that hype and absolute crap being flogged destroying our industry.

But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s out there and it HAS made it much more difficult for honest marketers like me and you.

Although email marketing is being faced with new challenges, it is STILL the #1 most effective marketing channel in existence. And any marketer worth his weight will tell you the same thing.

And so for the last 5 months I’ve focused all my attention on developing and testing a new method of list building. A method that collects 100% valid and therefore HIGHLY RESPONSIVE email addresses.
